The European Commission is hosting a forum called “Global Gateway” in Brussels on October 25-26, 2023. This forum brings together leaders and representatives from EU and partner countries, the private sector, and others who are interested.
The forum is meant to show how the EU is making progress in their plan called “Global Gateway. ” This plan is about investing in things like communication, healthcare, education, and scientific research all over the world.
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, started the event.
At the Forum, the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, Serdar Joraev, talked about the current state and future plans for developing our country’s infrastructure. The minister talked about how Turkmenistan is working on new transportation and energy routes, which are important for connecting the world. Specifically, several important transportation projects in certain regions have been found. These projects might also be interesting for Europe.
