Recently, a joint film festival of the Republic of Korea and Central Asian countries was held.
The film festival featured various films made by the Republic of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mongolia and the Republic of Indonesia.
Also, the Turkmen side presented the film “Gyzyl kurte” directed by S. Bayramov, as well as the film “Istarin” directed by A. Eyeberdiev in Korean.
An exhibition was also organized within the framework of the film festival. In the national pavilion of Turkmenistan, brochures about the achievements of the state in various fields, carpets woven by Turkmen women, expositions with national handicrafts, linen, jewelry, and various types of photos combined with modern photography and national traditions were shown.
