“Heritage Auctions” auctioned off the flag of the Moon with the Apollo-11 spacecraft during an expedition to the Moon. The U.S. flag, which measures 19.5 x 29 centimeters, is woven from silk. It also has a note by astronaut Michael Collins.
The authenticity of the flag and its inscription, “Launched on the Apollo 11, July 1969 / Michael Collins” are also certified. According to Elitethings.com, the flag, which traveled close to the Apollo-11 and the Moon, sold for 162,500$.
