Meeting of the Turkmen-Kazakh intergovernmental commission

In December 20, the 11th regular meeting of the Turkmen-Kazakh Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation was held in Ashgabat.

Before the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar,

During the conversation, the parties discussed a broad range of cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian fields of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the meeting, it was particularly emphasized that bilateral cooperation between the two countries has been raised to new heights and enriched in content in recent years.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on expanding intergovernmental cooperation in the fields of fuel and energy, industry, transport and communications,  as well as  in expansion of oil and gas with the active involvement between the two countries.

The final protocol on the results of the meeting of the Turkmen-Kazakh Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation was signed with the participation of the heads and representatives of a number of ministries and departments of the two countries.
