In Malaysia The Special Committee on Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) have started the vaccination program for foreign students, in that account Turkmen students, who are stuck in Malaysia due to Covid-19 Pandemy.
Vaccination is also available not only for students, but also for migrants that are facing difficulty in returning home.
Vaccination is provided free of charge. It requires to register online through www.vaksincovid.gov.my . Currently over 17 million applications has been done.
Malaysian government will bear the cost of RM378.66 million for the implementation of this programme among 2,542,424 non-citizens excluding Social Visit Pass holders.
Malaysia has ordered enough stock of the Pfizer-BioNTech, Sputnik V, Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines, which it will also have access to under the WHO’s COVAX facility.
Over 800 students from Turkmenistan are studying in various universities of Malaysia.
