One of the representatives from Georgian press at the 1st Caspian Economic Forum Natchkebia Badri, vice president of Georgia’s TV24, made a brief statement for InAshgabat readers. He emphasized that the rumors circulated in the second half of July were an attempt to smudge this event.
In his words, N. Badri said: “In the run-up to this forum, there was a certain provocation by hostile groups to Turkmenistan, that something wasn’t well with the esteemed President, which was an absolutely fake news and absolute lie. I believe that this was one of such small attempts to smudge this forum. But as we see it was perfectly organized with its exhibitions, with its honorable friends. And the event was opened personally by the esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which once again proves that the lie has very short legs. ”
