National teams of Turkmenistan are preparing for the XXXIII Summer Olympic and XVII Summer Paralympics to be held in Paris, France. This was discussed at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on January 19 via the digital network.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, further importance will be attached to the development of education, sports and the Olympic movement in the country, to the training of skilled athletes, to ensure that our youth are healthy, fit, and engage in sports.
As we know that the Summer Olympic Games are planned to be held in Paris, the capital of France, from July 26 to August 11 this year. At the Olympic Games held in Tokyo, Turkmenistan won the first Olympic medal in its history.
