The city of Albuquerque in the United States will hold an event called Days of Culture of Turkmenistan. A festival for creative people from Turkmenistan will take place in the United States on October 23-24.
Albuquerque is the main city in the state of New Mexico in America. It has been a sister city of Ashgabat since 1990. Turkmen artists and musicians will perform lively concerts here, and creative intellectuals will organize cultural events with a distinct Turkmen touch, introducing Americans to the traditions and values of the Turkmen people.
In May of this year, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the University of New Mexico agreed to have Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the United States during the fall. This decision was made during an online video conference. During the October event, these two universities will sign a Memorandum of Understanding.
