Harvest has been launched in Balkan and Dashoguz velayats

An important season has begun today in the wheat fields of Serdar and Dashoguz, Gorogly districts of Balkan province and according to the harvest, the important season has begun. In Ahal, Lebap and Mary provinces of Turkmenistan, the grain harvest began on June 3.

According to an electronic version of the Turkmenistan newspaper, leaseholders in the Balkans have grown 50,000 hectares of food white wheat this year. About 160 combine harvesters will be set up to ensure the smooth and productive operation of the harvesters, which includes repairmen, adjusters and welders. These groups, which are fully equipped with fuel and lubricants and necessary spare parts, will always be at work. 780 trucks worked smoothly to deliver the grain from the bunkers of the combine harvesters to the grain processing enterprises in Serdar and Bereket districts without any loss of time. Preparation of grain outlets and 2 elevators for storage of 50,000 and 30,000 tons of grain each in Serdar district, special laboratories to determine the quality of grain, warehouses to be harvested, is expected to produce a total of 80,000 tons of cereals this year.

According to the source, this year the grain growers of Dashoguz have set a target of harvesting 265 thousand tons of wheat from 145,000 hectares. 28 of the existing grain reception units in the province, including 7 elevators, have been able to work day and night during the wheat harvest day and receive uninterrupted harvesting. During this year’s harvest season, 448 high-yield combine harvesters worked uninterruptedly. Appropriate measures have also been taken to ensure the safe transportation of harvested produce to the warehouses. This year, 2,135 trucks will be used, regardless of ownership.
