“Eternal Dostoevski” project in Turkmenistan

In Astrakhan hosted online literary lesson as part of an international educational project. The meeting was organized by the Center for International studies “Caspian-Eurasia”, Astrakhan regional scientific library named after. N.K. Krupskoy, Astrakhan state technical university with the support of the government of the Astrakhan region, the agency for youth affairs of the Astrakhan region, the Center for support of NGOs and Civic initiatives and the Presidential grants fund.

More than 50 participants from near and far abroad countries have already shown interest in the cycle of educational lectures, meetings, conversations and competitions.

These teachers of the Russian language and literature, as well as schoolchildren and students from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Greece, Indonesia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Slovenia, Turkmenistan.

Professor of the Russian language department of the Astrakhan State Technical University Olga Kryakhtunova, who analyzed an excerpt from the work of F.M. Dostoevsky «The Brothers Karamazov» with participants, presented the next part of the project – an interactive subject-dialogue -.

It will be possible to hear the projects of Dostoevsky within the framework of literary online relay race. The actors of Moscow theaters, foreign schoolchildren and students, compatriots living abroad, will read the brightest and most famous excerpts from the writer’s works.

The Caspian-Eurasia Center announced the marathon and published the video on its resources.

In addition, an essay competition based on Dostoevsky’s works will start very soon. The results of the competition of creative works will be summed up at the end of April, and the best works will be published on the electronic platforms of the Caspian-Eurasia Center for International Studies.
