On March 25, the Festival of culture of Turkmenistan was held in Bursa of the Turkey Republic. Cultural event was organized by Municipality of Bursa and scientific-research center of the Turkish associations of the University of Uludag in the Bursa.
Students from Turkmenistan took an active part in complex event, which was held at the Vocational and Technical lyceum named after Faik Chelik of the Anadolu.
Festival participants had the opportunity to make acquaintance with the culture, history and traditions of Turkmenistan. The Turkmen national takhya, handmade carpets and Turkmen dutar, which was recently included into the UNESCO Representative List of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity, attracted the attention of participants.
During the event, there was a presentation about our Motherland Turkmenistan, prepared by Turkmen students. The cultural event was supplemented with the poem “Turkmenin” of Magtymguly Pyragy, melody of the dutar, monzhugatdylar, lale, Turkmen wrestling, dance of plov, kushtdepdi compositions.
