In Mary city President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has given sadaka – a charity meal to commemorate Shamyrat aga – the late Imam of the main mosque and Prominent Yashuly of Turkmenistan.
Berdimuhamedov also attended the sadaka. Verses from Holy Quran and prayers were recited.
The sadaka gathering was held at Gurbanguly Hajy Masjid in Mary. The masjid was built in 2009. It has capacity to serve for 2,500 worshipers.
