A lecture titled “Quiet Automation: A New Stage of Efficiency” recently took place at the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshigeldi Kakayev. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Volunteer Center of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, and the Center for Young Entrepreneurs under the Ashgabat City Committee of the CCIBT.
Speakers included digital solutions specialist Arslan Tekayev, Merdan Atayev, coordinator of the CCIBT’s Young Entrepreneurs Center and advisor to the Volunteer Center, and Atamyrat Ylyasov, chairman of the university’s primary youth organization.

Students and faculty actively engaged in the seminar, which highlighted how digital technologies enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and speed of work processes.
Arslan Tekayev emphasized that automation is not limited to large IT departments or international companies. Local experts familiar with workflow specifics can successfully implement digital systems. He pointed out that performing administrative tasks manually—such as budget consolidation, guest registration, or approving business trips—consumes considerable time and may result in errors.
All internal digital systems are developed in-house and operate on-premises. These solutions aim to reduce repetitive tasks, optimize employee workflows, and improve overall work quality. Importantly, automation is designed to support employees, not replace them, saving time and increasing productivity. A Q&A session followed, leading to a robust discussion on digital skills, automation, and professional development.
Merdan Atayev also highlighted the importance of young people making informed career choices and strengthening links between education and industry, stressing that education-industry collaboration enhances young professionals’ competitiveness.
Atamyrat Ylyasov drew attention to Turkmenistan’s declaration of 2026 as the “Year of Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”, noting the country’s efforts in nurturing educated, well-rounded, and morally strong youth.
