As part of Turkmenistan’s commitment to advancing its education sector during the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, a new German language textbook for 11th-grade students has been published. The launch aligns with the country’s strategic goals to improve academic resources and foster multilingual skills among students, supporting the educational initiatives of President Arkadagly Gahryman Serdar.
The textbook, titled “Nemes dili (I daşary ýurt dili)” and authored by G. Gurbanowa, A. Agajykowa, and J. Öwezowa, has been crafted with attention to modern educational methods. It integrates principles tailored to the cognitive and developmental needs of young learners and draws on proven, contemporary language-teaching techniques.
This German language textbook is expected to play a significant role in fulfilling national goals outlined in several key policy documents, including the Concept for Developing Digital Education in Turkmenistan, the Concept for Improving Foreign Language Education, and the Methodological Improvement Strategy for General Education Programs through 2028. These initiatives reflect a comprehensive vision for progressive education in Turkmenistan.
