Bahasa Club Launched at Diller Dünýäsi Language Center

A new language club, “Bahasa Club,” has officially launched at the Diller Dünýäsi Language Center under the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, with its first meeting already held in Ashgabat. The initiative is designed to increase young people’s interest in foreign languages and broaden their understanding of world cultures.

The first session was led by Merdan Ataýew, Coordinator of the Young Entrepreneurs Center operating under the Ashgabat City Committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. During the lesson, participants were introduced to the distinctive features of the Malay and Indonesian languages, their use around the world, and their cultural significance.

“Bahasa Club” is intended not only as a space for learning languages, but also as an opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of Southeast Asia. The club aims to make language learning engaging, accessible, and enjoyable for participants.

The initiative was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Diller Dünýäsi Language Center, the Young Entrepreneurs Center under the Ashgabat City Committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, and the Information, Consulting and Volunteer Activities Center of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly.

Classes will be held every Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., with new topics covered each week to help participants steadily expand their knowledge.

The Diller Dünýäsi Language Center invites all interested individuals to take part in the Bahasa Club.

Participation is free of charge. Registration could be done via this link.
