On February 24, 2026, during an official visit to Georgia, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, D. Gulmanova, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia, I. Kobakhidze.During the meeting, the Chairperson conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as from the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The parties discussed the current state and future prospects of Turkmen-Georgian cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Special attention was paid to inter-parliamentary cooperation, which plays an important role in strengthening interstate relations. The importance of expanding cooperation and mutual support within international organizations was also emphasized.
The participants highlighted the significant role of regular high-level meetings in strengthening constructive dialogue and mutually beneficial relations.
At the conclusion of the talks, both sides expressed their readiness to further expand cooperation based on mutual trust and respect.
