“Automation is about efficiency, not Rreplacement” – Turkmen Expert

“Automation Should Save Time, Not Replace Employees,” Says Expert at Diller Dünýäsi Lecture

ASHGABAT — Digital solutions expert Arslan Tekayev emphasized the importance of thoughtful automation in his open lecture at the Diller Dünýäsi Education Center. The event, titled “Silent Automation: Thinking Before Technology,” drew a large audience interested in how digital tools can improve workflow without replacing staff.

Organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Volunteers Center of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, and the Young Entrepreneurs’ Center of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the lecture focused on the risks of manual processes and the benefits of digitizing daily operations.

During his presentation, Tekayev noted that effective automation does not require large IT teams or external companies; specialists who understand processes from the inside can implement it successfully. He highlighted administrative tasks like budget consolidation, guest registration, and business trip approvals, which are often time-consuming and error-prone when done manually. Automating these processes increases efficiency and ensures compliance with audits and regulations.

All internal digital systems developed by Tekayev were created using only in-house resources and deployed fully on-premises. These solutions aim to reduce repetitive tasks, streamline workflow, and improve work quality.

The lecture stressed that automation should save employees’ time rather than replace them, a principle that sparked lively discussions during a Q&A session on automation, digital skills, and professional growth.

The event generated significant interest, reflecting the growing importance of digital transformation in Turkmenistan’s workplaces.
