A Turkmen–Armenian business meeting was held in Yerevan on January 15, 2026, bringing together representatives of government institutions and the business communities of Turkmenistan and Armenia. The event included companies operating in sectors such as textiles, food production, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, transport and logistics, jewelry manufacturing, and tourism, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, speeches were delivered by Vice President of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia N. Karamanukyan, Board Member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan B. Arazov, and Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Edgar Zakaryan. The speakers highlighted the current state of bilateral trade relations, favorable conditions for business development, investment opportunities, and the economic potential of both countries.
Participants were also presented with detailed overviews of business and investment prospects in Turkmenistan and Armenia.
Within the framework of the forum, bilateral talks were held between representatives of Turkmen and Armenian companies, during which the sides discussed practical ways to expand cooperation and strengthen long-term partnerships.
