On 29 December 2025, the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Aktau hosted a presentation of the book by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, titled “The Neutrality of Turkmenistan: a Bright Path of Peace and Trust,” according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The event brought together students from the Sh. Yessenov Caspian University of Technology and Engineering, along with members of the Turkmen diaspora.
During the presentation, participants highlighted the importance of the book in understanding the main stages of Turkmenistan’s development and gaining a thorough insight into the principles of the country’s policy of permanent neutrality within the framework of modern international relations. The publication emphasizes that throughout the years of neutrality, Turkmenistan has evolved into a dynamically developing state that harmoniously combines national traditions with innovative progress, while maintaining internal stability and openness to global cooperation. It was also noted that the country’s achievements in economic development, transport, culture, and international diplomacy stem from its consistent, peace-oriented state policy.
Speakers underscored the symbolic value of the book, released in connection with the 30th anniversary of the international recognition of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. Over time, this status has become a core element of the nation’s identity, reflecting its dedication to peace, friendship, and sustainable development.
The book presentation was described as a significant event, reaffirming the relevance of Turkmenistan’s neutrality policy for both the present and future. Participants expressed interest in further discussions on the ideas presented in the publication.
The event concluded with a reception featuring traditional Turkmen cuisine.
