Awaza, Turkmenistan – August 4, 2025 — The first plenary session of the LLDC3 Civil Society Forum was held today under the theme “Human-Centered Structural Transformation and Environmental Sustainability.” The session served as an important platform for discussing civil society’s approach to the economic, environmental, and social challenges faced by Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs).

Participants shared initiatives and experiences that align people-centered economic policies with environmental protection.

Key issues highlighted included strengthening local communities’ adaptive capacity, managing natural resources sustainably, and increasing the effectiveness of digital and social innovations.
