More than 4,000 people returned to their homeland through Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan proves to be a reliable partner in international humanitarian cooperation

Amid the ongoing military tensions in the Middle East, Turkmenistan is acting as an active and reliable participant in international humanitarian cooperation. The country is ensuring the safe transit of foreign nationals arriving from Iran through its territory.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, 52 countries have so far appealed to Ashgabat for assistance in returning their citizens home. As a result of these coordinated humanitarian efforts, approximately 4,000 people have already been able to return to their home countries.

These operations are being swiftly implemented in close coordination with the diplomatic missions of foreign states accredited in Turkmenistan. The prompt and effective response of Turkmenistan to such requests, along with its contribution to regional stability, demonstrates the country’s commitment to the principles of positive neutrality and its readiness to serve as an important humanitarian corridor.
