International Fashion Show showcases blend of tradition and modernity at TurkmenTextile Expo

According to Turkmenistan: Golden Age, as part of the “TurkmenTextile Expo — 2025” in Ashgabat, an international fashion show was held featuring collections by designers from Turkmenistan and around the world. The showcased designs combined traditional cultural elements with contemporary fashion trends.

The “Miras” fashion house, operating under Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Textile Industry, presented a collection of dresses that reflected both Turkmen national heritage and global fashion influences.

Among the featured international designers were Marianna Miceli, director of Mad Mood Milano Fashion Week; London-based Omar Mansoor, known for his eco-friendly haute couture evening gowns; Turkmen-born designer Gowkher Pirkuliyeva Gouvernet, celebrated for blending Turkmen motifs with French aesthetics; Singaporean designer Hayden Ng; and Aidarkhan Kaliyev, the lead designer of Kazakhstan’s “Asyl-design” fashion house.

The runway collections highlighted a wide range of styles and celebrated the show’s central theme — a cultural dialogue between East and West.

The “TurkmenTextile Expo — 2025” is being held in Ashgabat from June 11 to 13.
