The international trade fair “Turkmentextile Expo — 2025” officially opened at the Exhibition Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. This was reported by Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
According to state media, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended his warm congratulations on the opening of this major event, which is being held for the first time in Turkmenistan.
In his message, the President highlighted that the display of silk fabrics, garments, and other textile goods—geared both for domestic consumption and export—would draw the attention of international partners. He emphasized that this clearly reflects Turkmenistan’s openness to foreign investments in the textile sector.
The exhibition features a wide range of textile industry segments, including natural fiber processing, apparel and footwear manufacturing, home textiles, accessories, chemical products and dyes, as well as decorative items. Participating companies are also showcasing the latest advancements in textile technologies.
The “Turkmentextile Expo — 2025” will continue through June 13.
