The Ashgabat City Administration has signed a cooperation agreement with the Chinese company Changsha Zoomlion Environmental Industry Co., Ltd. for the supply of specialized municipal vehicles, equipment, and spare parts. This initiative aims to modernize and enhance the quality of utility and public services provided to city residents.
To ensure the project’s effective implementation, a team of experts from China visited Turkmenistan’s capital to assess local conditions. The specialists conducted a thorough analysis of the city’s infrastructure needs and tested the equipment directly on Ashgabat’s streets, even under extreme conditions such as high temperatures reaching +45°C and sandstorms. These trials led to the successful adaptation of the machinery to the specific climate of Central Asia.
As part of the agreement, Infore Enviro will deliver integrated solutions for street cleaning, waste collection, and urban infrastructure maintenance. The overall value of the contract is estimated at 60 million USD. A key feature of this collaboration is the establishment of a dedicated local service center that will offer around-the-clock technical support and maintenance services for the newly delivered equipment.
During the “White City Ashgabat” International Conference, Mr. Fu Qu, Director of Changsha Zoomlion Environmental Industry Co., Ltd., highlighted that the deal marks a new stage in Turkmen-Chinese cooperation. He emphasized that the project is a clear example of the practical implementation of China’s “One Belt, One Road” initiative, reinforcing the growing strategic partnership between the two countries.
