“Ashgabat – Center of Peace and Trust”

Recently, the capital of Turkmenistan — Ashgabat — celebrated its City Day in full harmony with the year’s motto. In honor of the occasion, a scientific-practical conference titled “Ashgabat – Center of Peace and Trust” was held at the Publishing and Printing Secondary Vocational School of the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

The event brought together students, faculty members, and honored guests, who shared with the youth the historical and cultural heritage and stages of development of the capital.

Participants of the conference watched videos dedicated to the architectural appearance of modern Ashgabat. Future specialists in design, publishing, and journalism showcased their talents by delivering speeches in foreign languages dedicated to the Turkmen capital, which carefully preserves Eastern traditions while combining them with advanced architectural trends and technologies.

Poems by Turkmen authors praising the beauty and comfort of the city were also recited. Particular interest was drawn to mentions of Ashgabat’s achievements that have been recorded in the Guinness Book of Records, once again confirming the capital’s uniqueness and significance.

As part of the conference, an exhibition was organized where students had the opportunity to become acquainted with artworks and printed materials reflecting the distinctive image of Ashgabat.
