The Mukam Palace of the State Culture Centre hosted the opening ceremony for the Days of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Turkmenistan. In celebration of the 300th anniversary of the poet Magtymguly Fragi, a special resolution was adopted in Uzbekistan, and a feature film on his life was produced by Turkmen and Uzbek filmmakers.
The event was attended by officials from both countries, diplomats, media representatives, and cultural workers. An exhibition showcased works of decorative and applied arts, highlighting the traditions and history of Uzbekistan.
The ceremony included a concert featuring Uzbek art and culture, where performers captivated the audience with music and dance, emphasizing the mutual enrichment of cultures.
Upcoming events include a writers’ meeting at the State Library and a concert in Daşkent park, featuring Uzbek national costumes, dishes, and an exhibition of applied arts.
