A “Central Asia – Japan” Business Dialogue took place in Tokyo

On July 4, 2024, the second meeting of the Business Dialogue “Central Asia – Japan” was organized by the Japanese Association ROTOBO with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

The dialogue was attended by the Ambassadors of Central Asian countries to Japan, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of economic committees established with the countries of Central Asia, and delegates from Japanese business circles.

During the meeting, the Turkmen side emphasized the current state of trade and economic relations between the two countries, priority areas of cooperation, and favorable conditions created for Japanese companies to conduct business in Turkmenistan.

It was also noted that the first Summit of the heads of states of the dialogue “Central Asia – Japan,” planned to be held in the near future, will contribute to the expansion of trade relations between the states of Central Asia and Japan.

A Joint Statement on the results of the second meeting of the Business Dialogue “Central Asia – Japan” was signed during the meeting.
