Second Turkmen-Russian Business Forum

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Alexey Overchuk, in Moscow on Monday. At the meeting, both groups talked about planning the next Turkmen-Russian Business Forum. It will happen in Turkmenistan in January 2024.

Meredov and Overchuk talked about getting ready for the 13th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission. It will be held in Turkmenistan in January 2024, according to the press service of the Russian government.

At the meeting, the people looked at how well the agreements from the meeting between the leaders of Russia and Turkmenistan on October 10, 2023 were being put into action.

On the same day, the foreign ministers of the Caspian countries met. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, talked about important things between their two countries. They also talked about when they would meet again and how they would work together on international issues.

The foreign ministers talked about important things regarding their countries’ relationship, like when they will meet next and how they will work together internationally. Both countries agreed to work together to make their partnership stronger and develop different ways of cooperating with each other.
