The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution in order to successfully implement the tasks envisaged in the «National Program for the Development of Civil Aviation of Turkmenistan for 2012-2030», as well as to continuously modernize the aircraft fleet and ensure the safety of flights.
According to the document, the «Türkmenhowaýollary» agency of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers was authorized to enter into an agreement with the United States «Boeing» company on the purchase of 4 Boeing 737-8 aircraft.
