Russia actively effects Turkmenistan in the training of highly qualified personnel of various profiles. During the official visit of President of Turkmenistan to Russia, Vladimir Putin said that the popularity of Russian education among the Turkmen youth is consistently high making a press statement following the results of the Turkmen-Russian discussions on Friday.
Now more than 30 thousand students from Turkmenistan are studying in our country, which more than 4.3 thousand are on a budgetary basis-specified the head of the Russian Federation.
V.Putin also supported the idea of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to create a joint Turkmen-Russian university.
