The students of Oguz han ETUT achieved the first place in team competition in the I Open International Internet Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics.
The students of Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan achieved excellent results in the I Open International Internet Olympiad organized by the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan on the subject of “Theoretical Mechanics” on May 10-14.
225 students from 71 universities in 15 different countries, including 13 technical universities from Turkmenistan, took part in the competition. The students were monitored through the online conference via the Google Meet program and given a specific time to solve the problems. The Olympiad consisted of 2 rounds and was held as an individual and team competition. The regulation of the Olympiad was to solve 8 problems in 4 hours in the individual competition, and the group of 5 students was conditioned to solve 5 problems in 1 hour in the team competition.
The students of Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan won first place in the team competition in this international theoretical mechanics Olympiad. In the individual competition, the students of this university achieved the following results:
- Jumayev Agajan – I place
- Seyidov Didar – I place
- Annayev Allamyrat – I place
- Suleymanov Selim – II place
- Hojayev Orebay – II place
Winning prizes in international competitions as a response to our Esteemed President’s policy in the field of science and education, will introduce our country’s higher education institutions to the world, as well as it will help them to be included in the ranking of the world’s top universities.
