On Saturday, March 12, 2022, Turkmenistan will elect a new president. For the presidential election, eight candidates have been nominated from Turkmenistan’s political parties, and independent candidates from Ashgabat city and the country’s provinces.
Cabinet deputy chairman Serdar Gurbangulyevich Berdimuhamedov was nominated as candidate for presidency for Turkmenistan by Democratic Party of Turkmenistan.
Babamyrat Meredov, Director of “Vepaly Gurlushyk” economic society, has been nominated by the industrialists and entrepreneurs party for the post of President of Turkmenistan.
Agajan Bekmuradov, deputy head of Mary province from the agrarian party of Turkmenistan for the presidential elections of Turkmenistan, was nominated for the presidency of Turkmenistan.
Hydyr Nunnayev, vice rector of Turkmen state institute of physical culture and sports. He was nominated for the presidency of Turkmenistan by citizens of Capital city.
A citizens of Dashoguz province nominated Maksat Odeshov, chairman of the S.Turkmenbashi district committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, for the highest state post.
Maksatmyrat Ovezgeldiyev, head of the Sanitation and disease control service of Babadayhan district, Ahal province, has been nominated for the post of President of Turkmenistan from Ahal province.
As a result of the meeting in Mary province, Kakageldi Saryev, the director of the Research and production center “Renewable energy sources” of the State energy institute of Turkmenistan, was nominated for the highest state post.
Berdymammet Gurbanov, Head doctor of the “Avaza” sanatorium of the Ministry of health and medical industry of Turkmenistan and Member of the National council of Turkmenistan, has been nominated for the presidency of Turkmenistan.
Perhat Begenjov, Director of the Lebap province financial and economic vocational secondary school, was nominated for the presidency of Turkmenistan by citizens of Lebap province.
