The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) held a competition for academic essays entitled “Robots and International Humanitarian Law”
More than 100 scientists, students, university lecturers, journalists, pupils, and lawyers from around the world competed in the competition. Turkmen, Azerbaijani, Armenian, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Russian, Tajik, Uzbek, and Ukrainian were among the languages represented in the competition.
The competitors done extensive researchs. Students, instructors, and staff from universities in our country who study international law also participated in the competition. Students of the Department of International Law, Faculty of International Law and International Relations, International University for the Humanities and Development, also competed and presented their academic essays in the Turkmen language section.
In the nomination of the best academic essay among students of the Turkmen language section

First place – Annageldiyeva Shemshat, third year student of International Private Law major
Second place – Orazberdiyeva Altyn, third year student of International Private Law major
Third place – Nurberdiyev Nowruz, second year student of International Public Law major
The fact that our university students awarded 3 prizes is a clear proof of the quality of education that meets world standards. The result of competition announced by the regional branch of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Central Asia. The competition’s winners will get certificates and gifts.
