On Thursday during the video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree instructing all ministries, sectoral departments, hyakimliks of velayats and Ashgabat, institutions, enterprises and organizations of Turkmenistan, regardless of their legal form, to create their websites and information management systems.
According to the document, ministries, sectoral departments, hyakimliks of velayats and Ashgabat, institutions, enterprises and organizations, regardless of the legal form, as well as individual entrepreneurs – individuals who carry out entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity, are required to ensure the creation of an electronic document management system in the established manner and Internet websites, as well as their commissioning and systematic updating.
Berdimuhamedov assigned to begin these tasks in March 2020 and to completely put into operation an electronic document management system and Internet websites by January 2021.
Government has launched www.e.gov.tm E-Government platform which is continuously being updated with services provided to public.
