“I was not qualified to be a volunteer for Caspian Economic Forum 2019”

I missed the chance to be a volunteer in the 1st Caspian Economic Forum which is going to be held in Avaza, Turkmenistan on 11-12 August 2019. Because I missed the registration deadline, that was announced by the selection team in our university.

As future international economists, lawyers, diplomats it is essential to gather as much experience as possible in such international events. Not to be arrogant, but if I didn’t procrastinate the volunteer recruitment program, I know I would be elected and would give contribution not less than anyone. I am firmly claiming that, because I had opportunities to be a volunteer in various events organized by Ashgabat committee of Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan’s Children Fund and World Weightlifting Championship 2018 which was held in Ashgabat between 28 October and 8 November 2019.

First Caspian Forum will be held for the first time and is hosted by the Turkmen government. This forum is the key event in further growth of Caspian coasting countries. Besides the gatherings of government officials, it is expected that there will be a huge variety of exhibitions and shows. In that account there will be companies providing services in the fields such as oil and gas, construction, electrical energy, agriculture, agriculture technology and tools, seed production, ship engineering, water technology and facilities, communication, software products, logistics, chemical products, home appliances, transportation maintenance, healthcare, pharmacy.

Companies participating are not only from the Caspian coastline but from other countries, which have a tight relationship with the region. Currently, 42 companies have applied to take part in the exhibition, which will be held within the frame of “Hazar-2019”.

Participating countries are Azerbaijan, Islamic Republic of Iran, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation and Turkmenistan.

Updates on the event could be followed on: https://cefavaza2019.gov.tm/

It is a bit challenging to write and share something while we are on holiday. Still, I will try to share some key points about the events. I wish all the best to my friends who have managed to be selected to be a volunteer. I hope, I could join you at the next event.
